Description

White Bed is crafted from three white wool and three planks, giving players a clean spawn point and a way to skip the night in the Overworld. A bed sets the respawn location when used safely, but sleeping requires night or thunder and enough distance from hostile mobs. White is the neutral default color and can be recolored with dyes in many versions.

In survival, a white bed is one of the first safety upgrades after finding sheep or string. Skipping night prevents many surface spawns, while a spawn point near a base, mine, or temporary outpost reduces the cost of death. Beds explode in the Nether and End, so the same item becomes a dangerous combat tool against bosses or a mining risk if used carelessly outside the Overworld.
