Waxed Weathered Copper Door is a copper door coated in honeycomb while at its third oxidation stage, permanently locking in the green-and-brown-spotted look and blocking any further color change. Copper doors start unoxidized and darken through three more stages -- exposed, weathered, then oxidized -- as the metal ages, and honeycomb halts that process at whatever stage the door has reached. Reaching the weathered stage itself takes time: a plain, unwaxed Copper Door has to sit exposed for a while after being crafted from six Copper Ingots on a crafting table, since the crafting grid no longer offers a direct recipe for any oxidized variant. Once the door reaches weathered, combining it with a Honeycomb on a crafting table produces the matching Waxed Weathered Copper Door, and pickaxes mine it fastest even though any tool works.

Waxed Weathered Copper Door still opens and closes for players, villagers, piglins, vindicators, and copper golems, and it swings open when hit by a thrown wind charge, exactly like its unwaxed counterpart. It stacks to 64, resists fire and lava, and works as an air pocket underwater or in lava, which makes it useful for base entrances near water without extra maintenance. Because the wax stops the greenish patina from turning into the darker oxidized shade, it fits builds that want a weathered, aged-copper look without the color drifting over future play sessions. On Hard difficulty, zombies and vindicators can still smash through it while it's closed, so pairing it with a lever or redstone signal keeps it shut only when intended.
