Description

Warped Trapdoor is a wooden trapdoor (a thin hinged panel that fills the upper or lower part of a block) added in Java Edition 1.16 and Bedrock Edition 1.16.0. Six Warped Planks in two adjacent rows of three on the crafting table grid give two Warped Trapdoors. Warped Trapdoor has hardness 3 and blast resistance 3 (how well it withstands explosions), and mines with any tool, though an axe is the fastest.

Warped Trapdoor opens and closes with a right-click and also reacts to redstone power, so the same panel works as a hand-operated hatch or a signal-controlled gate. Placed on the upper half of a block, Warped Trapdoor swings down; placed on the lower half, it swings up, and it stays in place even if the block it was attached to is removed. Mobs treat every Warped Trapdoor as closed, so walking mobs fall through an open one, which players use to build mob traps.
