Description

Twisting Vines are climbable plants that grow upward from the floor of the Warped Forest in the Nether, added in Java Edition 1.16. Twisting Vines spread on top of solid blocks and reach several blocks tall, showing the teal-green color of warped nylium. Players climb Twisting Vines like a ladder by holding the jump key, which makes them handy for vertical movement and natural-looking Nether builds. Break Twisting Vines with shears for a guaranteed drop, or with bare hands and other tools for a 33% chance to drop the plant. Apply bone meal to the top of a Twisting Vine to grow the column taller instantly. Twisting Vines are not flammable and emit no light, and unlike Weeping Vines they grow upward from a supporting block rather than hanging from a ceiling. They are common decoration in Warped Forest biomes and useful as a renewable climbing material.
