Description

Stone Stairs are crafted from six stone blocks arranged in a stair-shaped triangle on the crafting grid, yielding four stairs per recipe — or one-to-one through a stonecutter for maximum efficiency. Stone itself comes from smelting cobblestone in a furnace; this stair variant therefore takes one extra processing step compared to cobblestone stairs but yields a noticeably cleaner texture without the visible chunky cobble pattern.

For builders, the cleaner finish makes this material the right choice for modern interiors, museum floors, paved courtyards, or any structure where the rough cobble texture would read as too rustic. The block shares all standard stair behaviour: half-block riser height, automatic corner shapes for inner and outer turns, top-half placement against a ceiling for inverted overhangs. Walking up requires no jumping. The stair has no special blast resistance bonus over the parent stone block; it is purely an aesthetic option. Slab and full-block variants of stone exist for matched palette projects.
