Description

Pale Oak Sapling is a non-craftable plant that grows into a pale oak tree, introduced with the Pale Garden biome in Minecraft 1.21.4. You obtain it as a rare drop when Pale Oak Leaves break or decay, so harvesting the eerie pale-white canopy of the Pale Garden is the only natural way to collect saplings — wandering traders also sell one for 5 emeralds. Like dark oak, a single Pale Oak Sapling never grows on its own: plant four saplings in a 2×2 square on dirt, grass block, or podzol, give them open space above and around, and the group will sprout into a large pale oak tree with pale logs and grayish-white leaves. Apply bone meal to the 2×2 group to speed up the growth if there is enough room. You can also drop the sapling into a flower pot to display it as a small decoration indoors. It works in both Java and Bedrock Edition.
