Usage Guide
How to use a Pale Oak Pressure Plate in Minecraft
-
1
Craft the plate
Place two pale oak planks side by side horizontally in the crafting grid to make one Pale Oak Pressure Plate.
-
2
Place it on a solid block
The plate needs support underneath. Put it on top of any full block where you want the trigger.
-
3
Wire it to a mechanism
Run redstone dust beside it or place a door, dispenser, or lamp so the strength-15 signal can reach it.
-
4
Step on it to trigger
Walk onto the plate or drop an item on it; the circuit stays powered as long as something stays on top.
Unlike a stone pressure plate, the wooden Pale Oak Pressure Plate also reacts to dropped items and arrows, so use it when you need item detection.
