Orange Cushion is a placeable seat pad less than a quarter of a block tall, and players sit on the cushion by pressing use.
Description
Orange Cushion seats a player who presses use on the placed cushion, and a seated player ignores knockback, geysers, pistons, and portals until dismounting. The cushion hugs surfaces shorter than a full block, slabs and stairs included, because Orange Cushion carries no collision box. Cushions laid in a line with two blocks between each reach 15 m/s while the use key is held, faster than a horse or a minecart on rails.

Orange Cushion is an entity, so any hit breaks the cushion instantly, including projectile hits and attacks that deal zero damage. A broken cushion always drops itself.
Can Orange Cushion serve as furnace fuel?
Four cushions smelt a single item in a regular furnace, because each cushion burns for only 50 game ticks, or 2.5 seconds.
Do sculk sensors notice Orange Cushion?
Yes. Unlike wool, Orange Cushion does not dampen vibrations, so placing, breaking, or sitting on the cushion sends detectable vibrations to sculk sensors and sculk shriekers.
Does Orange Cushion survive fire and lava?
