Nether Wart Block
Nether Wart Block is a deep red decorative block crafted from nine nether warts, also forming the warty canopy of huge crimson fungi.
Description
Nether Wart Block is purely cosmetic and cannot be uncrafted back into nether warts, so any wart turned into block form is lost for brewing. Builders use Nether Wart Block as a fleshy red accent next to crimson planks, magma blocks, and netherrack for hot Nether themes, and as a bold contrast against grey blackstone or basalt walls. Unlike the cyan Warped Wart Block from warped forests, Nether Wart Block keeps a crimson tone, and it is not flammable, so Nether Wart Block survives placement beside lava and fire. Nether Wart Block can also be composted with an 85% chance to raise the composter level.

How to get and use the Nether Wart Block in Minecraft
-
1
Craft from nether warts
Place nine nether warts to fill the full 3×3 crafting grid to make one Nether Wart Block. The recipe is one-way and cannot be reversed back into warts.
-
2
Harvest from crimson forests
Break the red wart blocks on top of huge crimson fungi in a crimson forest, or bonemeal a crimson fungus on crimson nylium for a 40% chance to grow your own.
-
3
Break it efficiently
Mine Nether Wart Block with a hoe for the fastest speed; any other tool or your bare hand also works, and the block always drops itself.
-
4
Build with it
Place Nether Wart Block alongside crimson planks, magma blocks, and netherrack for fleshy Nether interiors, or against blackstone for sharp contrast.
Nether Wart Block is not flammable and cannot be turned back into nether warts, so keep enough warts for brewing before you craft blocks.
