Description

Music Disc 5 is a rare jukebox record in Minecraft, added in Java Edition 1.19 (The Wild Update) and composed by Samuel Åberg. Unlike every other music disc, it is never found whole — players craft it by placing 9 Disc Fragment (5) pieces anywhere in a 3×3 crafting grid. The fragments come only from chests inside Ancient Cities, the rare structure buried in the Deep Dark biome below y=0. Once assembled, insert the disc into a jukebox to play the eerie ambient track named "5". A jukebox playing a disc emits a redstone signal of strength 15, so you can detect playback with a comparator. Music Disc 5 stacks to one and is non-renewable, because Ancient City loot does not regenerate, making it a prized collectible for Deep Dark explorers.
