Description

Magma Cream is a Nether-related brewing ingredient in Minecraft used to make Potion of Fire Resistance. Players obtain Magma Cream as a drop from Magma Cubes — large and small cubes drop 0-1 each, while tiny cubes drop none — or craft it by combining 1 Slimeball and 1 Blaze Powder in any crafting grid. In a Brewing Stand, Awkward Potion plus Magma Cream yields a Potion of Fire Resistance with 3 minutes duration, making the item essential for Nether exploration, Blaze farming, and ancient debris hunts. Since Minecraft 1.10, 4 Magma Cream arranged in a 2×2 square craft 1 Magma Block, a glowing block that damages mobs standing on it and creates bubble columns underwater.
