Description

Magenta Harness is the magenta variant of the harness, an item that a player equips on a Happy Ghast to make the Happy Ghast mountable and rideable. A Happy Ghast can be ridden only while wearing a harness, and up to four players can ride one Happy Ghast at once. A player equips Magenta Harness by using it on a Happy Ghast, and a dispenser can do the same. Large vintage-style aviator goggles on the harness lower over the eyes of the Happy Ghast during a ride and rise when nobody is riding, so other players can tell that someone is on board even when the rider is invisible.

Magenta Harness is crafted from 3 leather, 2 glass and 1 magenta wool: leather fills a row of three cells, and glass, magenta wool and glass fill the adjacent row. The magenta colour sets the tint of the decorative curtains that flow down the sides of the Happy Ghast. Combining any other harness with magenta dye also produces Magenta Harness, in any arrangement in the crafting grid. Shears used on a Happy Ghast wearing a harness remove the harness and drop the harness as an item.

How to get and use Magenta Harness in Minecraft

    Gather the ingredients

    Collect 3 leather, 2 glass and 1 magenta wool, or take any other harness together with magenta dye.

    Craft Magenta Harness

    Place 3 leather in one row of the crafting grid and glass, magenta wool and glass in the adjacent row to craft Magenta Harness.

    Combine any harness with magenta dye in the crafting grid to turn the harness into Magenta Harness.

    Equip a Happy Ghast

A Happy Ghast without a harness follows any player who holds a harness in hand.
