Lime Stained Glass Pane is the bright-green window block that exists only through crafting: eight Glass Panes around one Lime Dye produce eight panes, and six Lime Stained Glass blocks produce sixteen. Every tool breaks a Lime Stained Glass Pane at the same speed, yet a pane broken without the Silk Touch enchantment (the drop-preserving enchantment) drops nothing — mine with care or stock up before building. The lime color never generates naturally, because village temples hold only white, yellow, orange and red panes and abandoned villages add brown, so every lime pane in a world is player-crafted. A lone Lime Stained Glass Pane stands as a thin 2×2-pixel post and links into flat, curved, T-shaped and cross-shaped forms beside neighbouring blocks, with a hitbox matching the visible shape.

Lime Stained Glass Pane stretches stained glass further than full blocks: sixteen panes from six blocks glaze up to 267% — two and two-thirds times — of the area those blocks would cover whole. A Lime Stained Glass Pane never lies horizontally, so lime floors and roofs need Lime Stained Glass blocks instead. Water can share a block space with a pane (waterlogging), and a Beacon beam passing through a Lime Stained Glass Pane takes on the lime tint — a colored-beacon technique available since Java 1.8. Torches can be placed on a Lime Stained Glass Pane, walls connect to pane sides and bottoms, and panes bond to the solid backs of stairs. Map locking stays out of reach: a clear Glass Pane locks maps, but stained panes, lime included, cannot.
