Lime Bed is the green variant of the Minecraft bed — a dyeable utility block that skips the night for the player and moves the spawn point to a spot within a few blocks of the bed in the Overworld. One Lime Bed is crafted from 3 lime wool of a single color and 3 planks of any kind, and a bed of any color turns into a Lime Bed with lime dye. Shepherd villagers sell beds for 3 emeralds. Lime beds generate naturally in desert village houses, and in Java Edition trial chambers a bed of any color can appear. Lime Bed has hardness 0.2 and blast resistance 0.2, does not burn, and drops itself when broken; no tool speeds up the breaking.

Using a Lime Bed at night, when sky light falls to 11 or below, skips the night in 101 game ticks — 5.05 seconds; using Lime Bed during the day only sets the spawn point and shows "Respawn point set". In multiplayer, the night passes once every player in the Overworld is in bed at the same time. A monster within 8 blocks horizontally and 5 blocks vertically of the bed head blocks sleep, and a player who has not slept for 3 in-game days draws phantoms. Trying to sleep in the Nether or the End explodes the Lime Bed with power 5 — above TNT's 4. Villagers occupy beds at night and need spare beds to breed, so extra Lime Beds serve a growing village.
