Description
A single megajungle tree can yield over fifty logs — chopping just the trunk while standing on one of the lower branches is a classic Survival manoeuvre. The block strips with an axe to expose its inner colour, smelts to charcoal in any furnace, and crafts to four jungle planks per unit. Cocoa beans drop from pods that grow on the bark, making jungle trees the only renewable cocoa source.

Jungle Logs generate exclusively inside jungle and bamboo jungle biomes. Look for dense, tall tree canopies and the distinct dark-green foliage on your map. Single jungle trees reach about 10 blocks; mega jungle trees formed from 4 saplings in a 2×2 cluster tower 20–30 blocks or higher.

Climb up and chop the trunk efficiently
For a mega jungle tree, pillar up or climb the vines to a lower branch before chopping. Work your way down the trunk — this lets you harvest each Jungle Log without having to jump up or build scaffolding. A single mega tree can yield 50 or more Jungle Logs in one cutting session.

Strip the log with an axe
Right-click (or use the secondary action button) on a Jungle Log while holding any axe to strip it, creating a Stripped Jungle Log. Stripping removes the dark bark and exposes the warm reddish-brown inner wood, which is useful for interior decoration or contrasting wood builds.

Craft Jungle Planks from each log
Place 1 Jungle Log anywhere in a crafting grid — no crafting table required — to receive 4 Jungle Planks. Jungle Planks are the foundation for jungle wood slabs, stairs, doors, trapdoors, buttons, and fences.

Smelt Jungle Logs into Charcoal
