Description
Iron Leggings are the only armor slot that can carry the Swift Sneak enchantment, which increases crouch-walking speed and is found exclusively in Ancient City chests in the deep dark. Beyond Swift Sneak, Iron Leggings accept Protection, Blast Protection, Unbreaking, Mending, and Thorns. Players craft Iron Leggings as a reliable mid-game upgrade once they have mined iron from caves, and worn-out pairs can be smelted in a furnace or blast furnace to recover one iron nugget. Combine Iron Leggings with an iron helmet, chestplate, and boots for a 15-point full set that carries most players safely toward diamond gear.
