Description

Dark Oak Button stays active for 1.5 seconds (30 game ticks) after a press and then switches off on its own. While active, Dark Oak Button powers adjacent redstone dust to power level 15 and strongly powers the block that holds Dark Oak Button at the same level. Stone buttons release after 1 second, so a wooden button keeps a circuit running half a second longer. Dark Oak Button was added in Java Edition 1.13 and Bedrock Edition 1.4.0.

One Dark Oak Planks block in the crafting grid yields one Dark Oak Button, and a stack holds 64. Dark Oak Button attaches to the side, top or bottom of any full opaque block. Arrows and thrown tridents can press Dark Oak Button too, so a ranged trigger needs a wooden button instead of a stone button.
