Cyan Stained Glass is the cyan-colored variant of Minecraft's plain glass block, added to Java Edition in version 1.7.2 (snapshot 13w41a) together with all 16 dye colors. The recipe puts one cyan dye in the center of a 3×3 crafting grid and eight glass blocks in the remaining cells, yielding eight Cyan Stained Glass blocks per craft. Cyan Stained Glass is renewable, because plain glass and cyan dye both count as renewable resources. Broken without a Silk Touch enchantment (an enchantment that keeps fragile blocks as items), Cyan Stained Glass shatters and drops nothing; hardness sits at 0.3 and blast resistance at 0.3.

Cyan Stained Glass works as a window block with an aqua tone: players see through the glass, while mobs treat stained glass as completely opaque, cannot see players through the block, and cannot normally spawn on the block. Six Cyan Stained Glass blocks craft into sixteen thin stained glass panes for narrow frames. Stained glass placed anywhere above a beacon recolors the beacon beam: the first glass block sets the beam color, and each additional block blends the beam color with the color of the glass. Redstone dust and redstone components can sit on Cyan Stained Glass but cannot power the block. Cyan Stained Glass never generates naturally, so crafting stays the only source.
