Cyan Glazed Terracotta is a decorative block obtained by smelting cyan-stained terracotta in a furnace: one stained block turns into one glazed block and grants 0.1 experience. Terracotta for this production chain comes from a block of clay smelted in the same furnace. Eight terracotta blocks placed around one cyan dye yield eight cyan-stained terracotta blocks, and the dyeing recipe is irreversible. Cyan dye is crafted from one blue dye plus one green dye and yields two cyan dye. Outside crafting, Cyan Glazed Terracotta generates naturally in trail ruins, and mason villagers sell glazed terracotta of every color.

Cyan Glazed Terracotta hides a creeper face in its texture — the signature detail of the cyan variant among the sixteen glazed colors. While placing, the texture of Cyan Glazed Terracotta rotates relative to the direction the player faces, and same-colored blocks set in the correct orientation across a 2×2 area or larger merge into one continuous image — a trick that turns Cyan Glazed Terracotta into a natural material for ornate floors and mosaic walls. Cyan Glazed Terracotta pairs hardness 1.4 with blast resistance 1.4, stacks to 64, and never catches fire.
