Description
Cracked Deepslate Bricks are produced by smelting regular deepslate bricks in a furnace — one input gives one output, and a blast furnace runs the same recipe at double speed for any builder needing a stockpile. The texture overlays fine fracture lines and small crumbling patches across the otherwise pristine masonry, suggesting age, neglect, or the aftermath of mild structural damage.
For builders, this is the single most useful material for ruin-themed constructions in dark colours. Replace twenty percent of regular deepslate brick walls with the cracked variant, scatter cobblestone and gravel patches at floor level, and the result reads instantly as an ancient or war-damaged structure without any further intervention. The full variant set — slabs, stairs, walls — exists at the cracked level, allowing entire ruined cities to be built without ever switching back to pristine bricks. The block has no functional difference from regular bricks; the change is purely cosmetic.
