Description

Shipwrecks scattered across ocean biomes are the source of Coast Armor Trim Smithing Template. These partially sunken or tilted ships contain treasure chests and supply chests in their lower decks, either of which may hold this item. At a smithing table it combines with one armor piece and one trim material — iron, copper, redstone, lapis lazuli, gold, quartz, emerald, diamond, netherite, or amethyst — without altering the armor's defense rating, toughness, or enchantments. Only the visual pattern changes. The coast design features flowing, wave-like lines that suggest open water and coastal movement, making it an obvious pick for nautical or underwater builds. Because shipwrecks are common, relatively well-lit, and carry no hostile mobs of their own, gathering this template involves less danger than collecting trims from Nether fortresses, woodland mansions, or ancient cities. Prismarine, cyan, and light blue trim materials pair most naturally with the coast motif. As with every smithing template in the game, it can be duplicated so the original is not spent during application.
