Blackstone Wall is a decorative wall variant of Blackstone that generates naturally in bastion remnants and is used for building. One craft turns six Blackstone blocks — two rows of three on the crafting grid — into six Blackstone Wall blocks, and a stonecutter cuts one Blackstone into one Blackstone Wall. Any pickaxe breaks Blackstone Wall, while mining without a pickaxe drops nothing. Blackstone Wall stacks to 64, is not flammable, cannot be set on fire by lava, and can be waterlogged. Blackstone Wall is renewable, because Blackstone is obtainable through bartering — since Java 1.16.2 and Bedrock 1.16.100.

Blackstone Wall suits dark fortification projects: courtyard perimeters, battlement rows, and bridge railings in bastion-remnant-style scenery. Blackstone Wall already generates inside bastion remnants, so a pickaxe can mine finished walls straight from those structures without any crafting.
