Description
Armadillo Scutes drop from armadillos periodically or when brushed with a brush tool. Armadillos spawn in savanna and badlands biomes. Each scute is used in the crafting recipe for wolf armor, which protects tamed wolves from damage. Six scutes arranged in a helmet-like pattern on a crafting table produce one piece of wolf armor. The armor is dyeable and can be repaired by combining it with additional scutes. Scutes can be collected in bulk from a pen of armadillos, making automated collection practical. They are among the newer crafting materials added to the game in recent updates.
