Zombie Head
Zombie Head is a mob head dropped only when a charged creeper kills a zombie; worn as a helmet it cuts zombie detection range by 50%.
Description
Zombie Head can be placed on the floor in eight rotations, mounted on a wall, or worn in the helmet slot. Wearing Zombie Head reduces the range at which zombies detect the player by 50%, a stealth advantage for night travel and zombie farms. Placed on top of a note block, Zombie Head makes the note block play the zombie ambient groan when powered by redstone. Builders use Zombie Head for spooky dungeons, Halloween scenes, and trophy walls beside Skeleton Skull and Creeper Head.

How to get a Zombie Head in Minecraft
-
1
Charge a creeper
Wait for a thunderstorm and lure a creeper under a lightning strike, or throw a Channeling trident at a creeper during rain to turn it into a charged creeper.
-
2
Bring a zombie close
Lead a zombie next to the charged creeper so both are caught in the same blast radius.
-
3
Trigger the explosion
Let the charged creeper detonate beside the zombie; the supercharged blast drops one Zombie Head on the ground.
-
4
Collect and use it
Pick up the Zombie Head and place it on a block, or wear it in the helmet slot to cut zombie detection range by 50%.
Only one mob head drops per charged creeper explosion, even if several zombies die together, so charge a separate creeper for each head you need.
