White Cushion is a placeable entity that Minecraft players sit on — an object like a painting or item frame rather than a solid block. The crafting recipe costs three White Wool Slabs placed in a row and yields one White Cushion, a decoration introduced to Java Edition in version 26.3. White Cushion cannot be mined: any attack, projectile, or piston push breaks the cushion instantly, and a broken White Cushion always drops itself. The support block underneath is rechecked every 100 game ticks (5 seconds), and a cushion left without support breaks shortly after. White Cushions also generate around abandoned camps, within 1–2 blocks of a campfire, and inside the camp barrels. The cushion measures 0.249 blocks tall and 0.999 blocks wide, stacks to 16, and rests on surfaces less than a full block tall, including slabs, stairs, and snow layers.

Press the use key on a placed White Cushion to sit down; while sitting, knockback, geysers, pistons, and portals cannot move the player. White Cushion has no collision, so seating built from cushions never blocks a walkway, and off-color cushions are fixable: any cushion plus one White Dye crafts a White Cushion. A line of cushions spaced two blocks apart doubles as transport — holding the use key reaches 15 m/s, faster than horse riding. White Cushion even works as furnace fuel with a burn time of 50 game ticks, meaning four cushions smelt one item. Unlike wool, cushions do not dampen vibrations: sculk sensors hear walking and sitting on a White Cushion.
