Description
The Wayfinder Armor Trim Smithing Template adds a compass-rose, navigation-themed pattern to armor pieces in version 1.21. The motif evokes paths, exploration and long journeys, and it can be applied to any armor slot at a smithing table.
Players obtain the template as loot from regular vaults inside trial chambers, where it appears alongside other 1.21 rewards. To apply the trim, combine one armor piece, one trim material — iron, copper, gold, lapis, emerald, diamond, netherite, redstone, amethyst or quartz — and the template at a smithing table; it is consumed in the process. The pattern can be duplicated by placing one template, seven diamonds and one cobbled deepslate in a smithing table, which yields two copies. The trim is cosmetic only and does not change armor stats, durability or enchantments.
