Description

Stripped Mangrove Wood is the bark-stripped, six-sided wood block of the mangrove family, added to Minecraft in Java Edition 1.19 "The Wild Update" alongside the mangrove swamp biome. Players obtain Stripped Mangrove Wood by using an axe on a Mangrove Wood block, or by crafting four Stripped Mangrove Logs in a 2x2 grid to yield three Stripped Mangrove Wood. Unlike the log, Stripped Mangrove Wood shows the same warm red-brown grain on all six faces with no end-grain rings, giving builders a uniform surface from every angle.

Stripped Mangrove Wood crafts into four Mangrove Planks per block and works as furnace fuel, smelting 1.5 items before burning out. The reddish tone is warmer than oak or spruce, making Stripped Mangrove Wood a strong pick for cozy cabins, tree-house supports, and decorative pillars or exposed beams where a clean bark-free look matters. Because every face matches, Stripped Mangrove Wood reads as a solid column even when placed sideways, a detail that sets it apart from the directional log.
