Description
Spruce Leaves generate as the canopy of spruce trees in taiga, snowy taiga, and old-growth taiga biomes — including the towering megaspruce trees that grow from 2×2 sapling clusters and easily reach twenty blocks tall. The texture is a noticeably darker blue-green than oak or birch leaves, almost cyan-shaded in shadow, and unlike most other leaf variants the colour stays constant regardless of biome — the same deep tone whether placed in a desert or a snowy mountain.
The drop table follows standard leaf rules: spruce saplings at one-in-twenty, sticks at one-in-fifty, no apples or other secondary drops. Shears guarantee the block returns intact, the preferred method for builders harvesting at scale. The constant colour makes spruce leaves the safest choice for builds that should look the same across multiple biome zones — taiga lodges placed in plains biomes, mountain cabins, ski resorts on flat ground. Persistent placement and natural-decay rules apply identically to every other leaf variant in the game.
