How to use a Slime Spawn Egg in Minecraft

Open the Creative inventory
Switch to Creative mode and search 'slime' in the inventory, or run /give @s minecraft:slime_spawn_egg to get the egg through commands in Survival.

Select the spawn egg
Place the Slime Spawn Egg in your hotbar and select the slot so the egg appears in your hand.

Aim at a solid block
Point your crosshair at the floor or any solid surface where you want the slime to appear.

Use the egg
Right-click on Java Edition, or tap and hold on Bedrock Edition, to spawn a slime of random size at that spot.
In Creative mode the egg is never used up, so you can spawn as many slimes as you like.
