Shroomlight is the strongest natural Nether light source besides glowstone and lava, sitting at light level 15 — full bright. The block has no crafting recipe; it generates only on huge crimson and warped fungi as part of their trunk-and-canopy structure, and a single fully-grown fungus typically holds three to six of them. Shroomlight drops itself when mined with any tool, so Silk Touch is not required — a hoe is simply the fastest tool for the job. It is renewable: bone-meal a crimson or warped fungus planted on matching nylium to grow a new huge fungus carrying fresh shroomlights.

The glow is a warm pumpkin orange that contrasts with the white-yellow of glowstone and the cooler tone of sea lanterns, making it the obvious pick for warm interior lighting without torches. It works underwater, needs no support surface, and emits light in every direction, so it serves equally as a hanging ceiling lamp, a recessed floor light, or a freestanding pillar accent. Pair it with crimson planks for warmth or warped planks for sharp colour contrast.
