Shelf Mushroom is a fungus block that grows on poplar trees in the Dappled Forest biome and bounces anything that falls onto the fungus.
Description
Shelf Mushroom attaches to any block face with a full side surface and survives at any light level. Players, mobs and items landing on Shelf Mushroom bounce back with 75% of the impact velocity, but fall damage still applies, because the game counts only 50% of the real fall distance and leaves slightly less than half of the normal damage. Bone meal turns a small Shelf Mushroom into a big one. Shelf Mushrooms never grow on their own. A composter accepts Shelf Mushroom with a 65% chance to raise the compost level by 1. The recipe of 1 Shelf Mushroom plus 1 Bowl yields 1 Mushroom Stew.
