Description

Resin Brick Wall is a decorative wall block added to Minecraft in the 1.21.4 update, available in both Java and Bedrock Edition. It shares the warm amber color of Resin Bricks, so it fits builds themed around the Pale Garden biome. Players craft Resin Brick Wall by placing six Resin Bricks blocks in two rows of three on the crafting grid, which yields six walls; a Stonecutter also converts one Resin Bricks block into one wall with no waste. The whole chain starts with Resin Clumps, which form on Creaking Heart blocks and pale oak in the Pale Garden — smelt a Resin Clump into a Resin Brick, combine four bricks into a Resin Bricks block, then build the wall. Like every wall, Resin Brick Wall connects to neighboring walls, fences, and fence gates, and raises a central post when a solid block sits above it. Its roughly 1.5-block collision height stops mobs and players from jumping over, so it works as both fencing and trim. Mine it with any pickaxe to recover the block; breaking it by hand drops nothing. Resin Brick Wall is non-flammable and pairs well with Resin Brick Stairs, Resin Brick Slabs, and Chiseled Resin Bricks.

Java & Bedrock Guide

How to craft and use Resin Brick Wall in Minecraft

  1. 1

    Gather Resin Bricks blocks

Smelt Resin Clumps from the Pale Garden into Resin Bricks, then combine four bricks in a 2x2 grid to make each Resin Bricks block. You need at least six blocks for one craft.

  2. 2

    Craft the walls

Place six Resin Bricks blocks in two full rows on the 3x3 crafting grid to receive six Resin Brick Walls, or use a Stonecutter for a one-to-one conversion.

  3. 3

    Place and connect

Set the wall on the ground; it automatically connects to adjacent walls, fences, and fence gates and raises a post when a solid block is placed on top.

  4. 4

    Use it in builds

Combine Resin Brick Wall with Resin Brick Stairs and Slabs for fences, garden borders, and balconies that block mob and player jumping.

Version note

Resin Brick Wall was added in Minecraft 1.21.4 and is identical in Java and Bedrock Edition; older versions cannot generate or craft it.
