Description
Raiser Armor Trim Smithing Template was added in Java Edition 1.20 and Bedrock Edition 1.20.0 together with Trail Ruins archaeology. This is not chest loot: the template hides inside rare suspicious gravel and is extracted by brushing, drawn from a shared twelve-slot loot pool at a 1-in-12 (8.3%) chance — the same pool and the same odds as the Host, Shaper, and Wayfinder templates. The Raiser template is therefore one of the four armor trims found exclusively in Trail Ruins excavations.
Application happens at a smithing table: place an armor piece, one trim material (iron, copper, gold, lapis lazuli, emerald, diamond, netherite, redstone, amethyst, quartz, or resin brick) and the template itself, which is consumed in the operation. The effect is purely cosmetic — defense, durability, and every other stat stay untouched. A used template is easy to replace: on a crafting table, seven diamonds and one terracotta produce two copies.
