Description
The Prize Pottery Sherd is a decorative fragment introduced with the Trails & Tales update. It is recovered exclusively by brushing suspicious sand blocks found inside cold and warm ocean ruins on the seafloor; a brush slowly clears the sand and ejects the sherd as an item. The face of this fragment depicts a stylised cup or chalice held aloft, commonly read as a symbol of victory, reward, or a trophy left behind by the ruined settlements. The sherd cannot be crafted by any recipe and is obtained only through archaeology.
Like other sherds, it is used to craft a Decorated Pot. Place four sherds — or plain bricks — in a plus shape around an empty centre slot on the crafting grid; each piece's design appears on the side matching its slot, so the chalice motif can be shown on one to four faces. The finished pot stores a single item stack, accepts hoppers above and below, drops whole when broken bare-handed, and shatters back into its component sherds when broken with any tool.
