Piglin Spawn Egg is a Creative-mode utility item that spawns an adult Piglin when used on a block face in Minecraft Java and Bedrock Edition. Piglin Spawn Egg cannot be crafted and has no survival drop — the item appears only in the spawn-egg tab of the Creative inventory or through the /give @s minecraft:piglin_spawn_egg command. The egg uses the standard mob-egg look: a pinkish-brown base with pale golden speckles that match a Piglin's snout and gold accessories. Piglin Spawn Egg arrived alongside Piglins in the 1.16 Nether Update and works in both editions on any solid surface.

Using Piglin Spawn Egg drops a neutral adult Piglin that barters when you toss it a gold ingot and turns hostile if you mine gold or open chests nearby without wearing at least one piece of gold armor. A Piglin spawned with the egg in the Overworld or the End starts converting into a Zombified Piglin after 15 seconds, so keep test spawns in the Nether or a closed arena. Map makers use Piglin Spawn Egg to stage bartering farms, build custom Nether encounters, and prototype gold-economy minigames without waiting for natural spawns in Nether Wastes or Crimson Forest biomes.
