Description
Pale Oak Boat is a wooden boat variant introduced in Minecraft 1.21.3 with the Pale Garden update of October 2024. Players craft a Pale Oak Boat from five Pale Oak Planks arranged in a U-shape — three planks across the bottom row and one plank in each side of the middle row of a 3×3 grid. The Pale Oak Boat carries up to two riders, who sit on top of the hull thanks to the 1.21.2 model rework, and reaches about 8 blocks per second on open water or roughly 40 blocks per second when steered onto Blue Ice. A second variant, the Pale Oak Boat with Chest, combines a boat with a chest to add 27 storage slots for long expeditions. The Pale Oak Boat breaks instantly from any attack, drops itself, and burns like other wooden boats, so keep it clear of lava on Pale Garden coastlines.
