Description

Orange Concrete Slab is the half-height slab form of orange concrete, one of sixteen concrete slab colors added to Java Edition in 26.3 and to Bedrock Edition in 26.50. Placing three Orange Concrete blocks in a single row of the crafting grid yields six Orange Concrete Slabs, while a stonecutter turns one block into two slabs. A single slab fills only half of a block space and partially blocks light; a double slab — two slabs merged into one full block — is completely opaque.

Orange Concrete Slabs break with any pickaxe, and mining without a pickaxe drops nothing. Orange Concrete Slabs do not burn, are not set on fire by lava, and can be waterlogged (the half block keeps water in the same space). An Orange Concrete Slab has a blast resistance of 1.8 in Java Edition and 0.36 in Bedrock Edition — how well it withstands creeper and TNT explosions — and stacks to 64. Flat floors, walkway edges, and rooftop lines get a saturated, even orange finish that full concrete blocks render too bulky.
