Magma Cube Spawn Egg is a Creative-mode item in Minecraft that spawns a magma cube wherever the player right-clicks a block surface. The egg shows a dark reddish-brown base with bright yellow-orange spots, mirroring the lava-cube mob it creates. Magma Cube Spawn Egg cannot be crafted or found in Survival; players obtain it from the Creative inventory or with the command /give @p magma_cube_spawn_egg. By default the egg spawns the large magma cube, which splits into medium and then small copies each time it is killed.

Magma cubes summoned by the Magma Cube Spawn Egg bounce toward the player and deal contact damage, and large or medium cubes drop Magma Cream when they die — the brewing ingredient for Fire Resistance potions and a component used to craft Magma Blocks. Builders use the Magma Cube Spawn Egg to stock Nether-themed arenas, test mob farms, or preview spawn behaviour without travelling to the Nether. Right-clicking a monster spawner with the Magma Cube Spawn Egg also converts that spawner to produce magma cubes instead of its original mob.
