Description

Lime Wool Slab is the half-height slab form of lime wool: three Lime Wool blocks in one crafting row yield six slabs. Any wool slab accepts the matching dye, so a single Lime Dye turns a slab of any color into a lime slab without recrafting. The wool slab family covers sixteen colors, with white wool as the undyed base, and every color can be re-dyed at any time. Lime Wool Slab arrived in Minecraft Java 26.3 and was announced at Minecraft Live on May 30, 2026. Shears break Lime Wool Slab faster than any other tool, the block hardness sits at 0.8, and a flammability of 30 means fire and lava consume wool quickly.

Lime Wool Slab also works as a vibration damper: a slab placed between a Sculk Sensor and a vibration source hides everything behind the slab, and Sculk Sensors never detect walking, sprinting, jumping, placing, or breaking on wool. Three Lime Wool Slabs in one crafting row produce one Lime Cushion. In Java Edition, a single Lime Wool Slab smelts 0.25 items as furnace fuel, so four slabs power one smelting operation. Builders pick the bright lime tone for floors and accents where a full Lime Wool block would look too heavy — half the height, the same quiet footsteps.
