Description

Added in the Tricky Trials update (1.21), the Host Armor Trim Smithing Template is found as loot inside regular vaults within trial chambers, the underground structures generated in the deepslate layer of the Overworld. The trim itself draws a layered, robe-like motif across the armor surface, evoking the silhouette of an authoritative host or noble figure, with subtle vertical and horizontal lines that wrap around chestplate, leggings, boots and helmet alike.

To apply the decoration, place one armor piece, one trim material (iron, copper, gold, lapis, emerald, diamond, netherite, redstone, amethyst or quartz) and this template into a smithing table; the template is consumed in the process. The pattern can be duplicated at the same table by combining it with seven diamonds and one cobbled deepslate, yielding two copies. The trim is purely cosmetic and does not alter any armor statistics.
