The Guster Pottery Sherd is recovered only by breaking the decorated pots that generate naturally in trial chambers, the underground structures introduced with the Tricky Trials update in Minecraft 1.21 that house trial spawners and vaults. Each pot shatters into its four component sherds or bricks, and roughly 1 pot in 13 (7.7%) carries a Guster Pottery Sherd — the rest hold other sherds or plain bricks. The fragment shows a stylised face with puffed cheeks blowing wind, a motif tied to the Breeze mob's gust attack; the same Guster design also appears on the Guster Banner Pattern and the Guster Armor Trim.

Like every sherd, the piece cannot be crafted and is not renewable. It is consumed in the Decorated Pot recipe: four sherds or bricks fill a 2x2 crafting grid, and each slot sets the design of one face, so the wind-blowing face appears on the side matching the sherd's position. A finished Decorated Pot drops whole when broken bare-handed or with a Silk Touch tool, but any tool without Silk Touch — or a projectile — shatters it back into its four components. The pot stores a single item stack and accepts hoppers above and below for automated transfer.
