Green Glazed Terracotta is a decorative block obtained by smelting Green Terracotta — the green-stained terracotta — in a furnace; one stained block smelts into exactly one glazed block, and plain undyed terracotta cannot be smelted. Green Glazed Terracotta never generates naturally in the world, so a furnace and mason villager trades — masons sell glazed terracotta in all 16 colors — are the only sources. Breaking Green Glazed Terracotta without a pickaxe drops nothing. Green Glazed Terracotta has hardness 1.4, blast resistance 1.4, stacks to 64, does not burn, and is not destroyed by lava.

Green Glazed Terracotta rotates when placed, turning the texture toward the direction the player faces, so a 2×2 or larger area of consistently oriented blocks merges into one continuous ornamental pattern — a look builders use for floors, columns, and accent walls. Green Glazed Terracotta never sticks to slime blocks or honey blocks. Pistons push Green Glazed Terracotta normally, but sticky pistons cannot pull glazed terracotta. Green Glazed Terracotta is fully renewable, because mason trades and the terracotta → Green Terracotta → furnace chain keep producing unlimited tiles for green mosaics.
