Ghast Spawn Egg
Ghast Spawn Egg instantly spawns a Ghast — the large white floating Nether mob that fires explosive fireballs — wherever you right-click.
Description
Ghast Spawn Egg lets builders and map-makers place a Ghast anywhere, even in the Overworld or the End, where the mob never spawns naturally. A spawned Ghast is a 4×4×4 floating hostile that shoots explosive fireballs, so leave open air above the target block or the Ghast will suffocate. Adventure-map designers use Ghast Spawn Egg to stage Nether-themed boss arenas, while redstone testers use it to verify fireball deflection without trekking to the Nether.

How to use a Ghast Spawn Egg in Minecraft
-
1
Open the Creative inventory
Switch to Creative mode and search 'Ghast Spawn Egg' in the inventory, or run /give @s ghast_spawn_egg to get one in any mode.
-
2
Pick a spot with open air
Find an area with at least a 5×5×5 open space, since a Ghast is large and needs room to float without suffocating.
-
3
Right-click to spawn the Ghast
Aim at the top of a solid block and right-click (use item) to spawn one Ghast directly above that block.
-
4
Manage the hostile Ghast
The spawned Ghast immediately turns hostile and fires fireballs; hit a fireball back to deflect it or switch to Peaceful difficulty to despawn it.
Ghast Spawn Egg is not obtainable in Survival without cheats; the /give command must be enabled to place a Ghast outside the Nether.
