Description

Dead Bush is a small, non-solid decorative plant that spawns in dry biomes like deserts and badlands, usually growing on sand, red sand or terracotta. Breaking a Dead Bush by hand drops 0-2 sticks, but harvesting it with shears returns the bush itself so you can replant it. In Java Edition Dead Bush is flammable and burns away if touched by fire or lava; in Bedrock Edition the plant is not flammable, though lava still ignites it. Dead Bush has no crafting recipe and no trader sells it, so every plant must be collected in the wild and the supply never regenerates. Builders use Dead Bush to add a parched, desolate touch to desert villages, wasteland scenes and terrarium-style displays.
