Description

Chiseled Copper comes from a crafting-table recipe using two matching Cut Copper Slabs of the same oxidation and wax stage. A stonecutter offers another route: cutting one Block of Copper yields four matching Chiseled Copper, while cutting one Cut Copper yields a single one. A stone pickaxe or better is required for mining — anything weaker drops nothing. Like every copper block, Chiseled Copper stacks to 64 and cycles through four oxidation stages. The fresh orange surface gains green spots when exposed, turns green with brown spots once weathered, and settles into a teal tone dotted with green after full oxidation.

Chiseled Copper does not burn and survives contact with lava — a safe choice for copper-toned trim near furnaces or nether builds. Waxing Chiseled Copper with a Honeycomb locks the current color in place permanently. An axe or a lightning strike removes oxidation and reverses the color change. The stonecutter always preserves the oxidation and wax stage of the source block, so cutting an Oxidized Block of Copper yields Oxidized Chiseled Copper.

The crafting grid only accepts two Cut Copper Slabs sharing the same oxidation and wax stage; mismatched slabs will not produce Chiseled Copper.
